CORAL SLIDE PUCKS are made of UHMW-PE or ultra high molecular weight polyethylene. This thermoplastic has a very low coefficient of friction, is self-lubricating, and is highly resistant to abrasion. It is odorless, tasteless, and nontoxic. UHMW-PE is the highest standard in slide puck material.
Coral Slide Pucks are made in a variety of shapes and sizes to fit every rider. All pucks are 1/2" thick with smooth round edges all around, top and bottom. Coral pucks can be flipped to maximize the life span and functionality. Please direct all questions and comments to CoralSlidePucks@bclongboards.com

DIY Slide Gloves
-
LOCATE GLOVES - Any pair of gloves will work. Ideally you would like to find some mechanics gloves or other thick, tough threaded glove. Gloves with wrist straps or other form of support work well also.
-
ATTACH VELCRO - There are numerous ways to attach velcro to both the gloves and the pucks. We will start with the gloves. For a rock solid pair of gloves, threading the velcro onto the palm with fishing line or other tough thread is ideal. However, shoe goo, super glue, and other various adhesives tend to work as well. Using some form of adhesive combined with the "roughing up" of the shiny puck surface should allow for proper adhesion of the velcro to the puck. To "rough up" the surface of the puck, just touch it very lightly with high grit sandpaper.
-
SLAP YOUR CORAL PUCKS on your new gloves and you should be ready to rip! As with all longboarding, sliding can be very intense and dangerous. Please wear your helmet and other safety gear.
