1.) What is the process for ordering a custom graphic?
-
When placing your order, select "custom graphic" as your graphic option.
-
After placing your order please send any photos or ideas you have to graphics@bclongboards.com Our team will then email you sample graphics to view. You are then to review and suggest any changes you may have to your graphic. We will conitnue this process until you are 100% satisfied. Once satisfied with your graphic, you will give us the approval to begin building your dream board!
2.) Who do you use for shipping?
-
If you live in the US48, your order will ship via UPS. If you select ground, your order will be in transit for 1-5 business days depending on where you live. If you select rush delivery, your order will be in transit for 1-2 business days.
-
If you live internationally, your order will ship via USPS Priority International. Scheduled transit is 6-10days based on USPS website for Priority International mail. Some countries have a 42" box length limitation, the board will have to be less to allow for protective padding. Some complete longboards will have to be shipped disassembled for international shipments. If you are unsure, email us and we'll let you know what to expect.
3.) Will I have to pay customs taxes on my International shipment?
-
The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. You should contact your local customs office for further information.
4.) How long until my board ships?
-
Standard orders will ship within 2 business days (unless otherwise stated on the boards page).
-
For custom graphic orders accurate shipping times are always displayed on the top of the boards page (They usually range 5 to 20 days depending on current volume).
5.) Can I get a tracking number for my order?
-
Yes! You will recieve a tracking number when your board ships.
6.) Do you offer a warranty?
- Yes, we will warranty the deck only for 3 months against any manufacturing defects. We handle warranty claims on a case by case basis and you will need a reciept for proof of purchase date, warranty is void without one. Just email pictures to info@bclongboards.com. If it looks like a possible defect, you will be required to send it to us for inspection. We will confirm a defect, normal wear and tear, or abnormal abuse, like riding in the rain. If the part is defective, it can be replaced, or refunded. We only warranty items bought through BCL or other authorized dealer. We will not warranty boards sold through ebay, craigslist, or other unauthorized source based at our discretion.
- BCL will not be responsible ANY shipping cost associated with your warranty. Furthermore, BCL will not be responsible for reimbursement of any foreign tax.

10.) Will you sponsor me?
- We just might! Send your resume and some footy to info@bclongboards.com If you impress us, we just might put you on the team!
11.) How should I care for my longboard?
- This is the most important question. Treat your board like you love it! Give it what ever it needs. Then, if need be, thrash it to pieces. Seriously though, there are a few simple things to keep your board rolling smooth for years. The most important thing is to keep it dry. Moisture will rust the bearings and get soaked up into the deck causing it to warp. Keep your board indoors when you're not riding it. Wipe it dry if you've been out sliding in the rain. Don't let it get away from you and fall into the lake. While it is possilbe to jump on the center of the board and flex it to the gound without breaking, we advise against this. You are only adding unnecessary stresses to the wood. And please try to keep them from getting run over by vehicles :)
12.) I'm a heavier or taller rider, which board should I get?
- Well, if you are over say 225, you should definitely consider the strength of your boards as a priority. Some decks have more plies of wood and this makes then stronger. Others incorporate composite material into them. Fiberglass and carbon fiber add to the strength of a deck while keeping the deck light. For a taller rider, you guys tend to have larger feet, so the width of your deck will be important. You will probably be happier on a wider deck that will accommodate your feet better. Look for something in the 9"-10" width range. Also a taller rider tends to have a wider stance, so look for a bit longer board. Again, any board can be ridden by any person, it's finding the one that you feel comfortable on that is important.
13.) Where are your boards made? Do you have a store front?
-
