A freeriders dream becomes urethane's worst nightmare as this Bamboo/Fiberglass composite is pressed with more curves than an episode of Baywatch!  Nose and tail kicks combined with the boards light weight make this free ride trick board the ultimate thrasher.  Manuals, shuv-its, g-turns, and other tech tricks are all effortless.  Pedestrian slalom? No Problem. The shorter wheelbase makes this board quick and agile for slashing your way through the busy streets.  The drop thru design provides a lower center of gravity for more stability, easier pushing, and easier sliding. The concave keeps you locked in during big stand up slides.  The board features aluminium drop thru mounting plates.   The plates distribute your weight evenly throughout the truck for a more responsive ride.  The rubber "padding" on the deck side of the plate serves as a shock absorber for the road vibrations.  The Moray is drilled with 6-holes to fit both the new and old school bolt patterns.  Top it off with our sublimated, highly durable, fiberglass sealed graphic.  Yes, it'll last forever!  All boards come gripped with clear Mini Logo grip tape.   A cool mix between traditional longboarding and original popsicle decks, the possibilities are truly endless.

The recommended set-up is 180mm trucks & 70mm wheels.

Overall Ride and Performance

BC packs a lot of punch with the Moray and proves the old adage “good things come in small packages”. At 38” and only 3 pounds the Moray slides, pumps, pops and flips with ease. The kicktails will certainly add a few technical tricks to your arsenal without compromising the feel of a longer board. The smaller wheelbase makes the Moray super agile but isn’t too small to dance on.

Flex

The Moray sports a stiff, snappy flex which promotes durability and responsiveness. You’re going to be glad that the Moray isn’t flexier when you’re jumping down stairs, pregrabbing ledges and busting flat tops off drops. The flex is enough to provide energy for pumping and carving and to soften landings. It won’t be an easy feat bottoming out this sucker, but it’s far from rock hard.

Platform

Despite the relatively short wheelbase, the platform on the Moray won’t prohibit a reasonable stance for sliding and freeride. At a half inch, the concave is impossible to ignore and assists the rider in freeride and sliding but is not overwhelming for tricks and dancing. If you’re looking for a dancing board, look at a plankton, but if you’re a person that likes to cross step at any session, no matter what the discipline, the Moray’s platform will easily suffice.

Kicktails

The Moray’s most identifiable trait is its trademark kicktails. These babies are steep and functional. I’ve never manualed so far and effortlessly in my life. Just nestle your foot onto the kick, lean, and you’re locked in. They provide tons of leverage and combined with the weight of the board, make tech tricks a breeze. They’re great for dropping off curbs and ledge and doing curb hops to get back up them. I can hardly ollie on a short board and I’ve gotten off the ground on this puppy.
