Surf meets street as this Bamboo/Fiberglass composite is pressed into dual contours to provide maximum energy and liveliness.  The Swordfish is perfect for cruising the beach, dancing, and carving.  The longer wheelbase keeps it stable and allows the carves to deliver a smooth surfy feel.  Plenty of nose and tail for shuv-its, manuals, and g-turns.  Large enough platform to walk the plank, cross-step, peter pan and much more.  The Swordfish is drilled with 6-holes to fit both the new and old school bolt patterns.  Top it off with our sublimated, highly durable, fiberglass sealed graphic.  Yes, it'll last forever!  All boards come gripped with clear Mini Logo grip tape.  This ride is great for hills, carving, cruising, dancing, or going for a beer run.

The recommended set-up is with 180mm trucks & 75mm wheels.

Overall Ride
The BC Swordfish provides an incredible ride in so many situations including cruising, carving and dancing. The Swordfish’s light weight, snappy flex, generous wheelbase and sizeable nose and tail make it a great “do everything”. If the BC eel is the all-arounder with a focus on freeride, the swordfish is the all-arounder with a focus on carving. At 45” the Swordfish has plenty of room for dancing but the normal faults of a longer board do not apply because it is so light. The Swordfish’s mobility and agility makes the rider feel as if they are riding a much shorter board… until they bust out a cross-step and experience the abundant space.

Flex
At 140 pounds, the Swordfish delivers moderate yet lively and snappy flex. The flex provides energy for carving and pumping while avoiding any feeling of sagginess. If you’re looking superfluous flex, the Swordfish might not be your cup of tea. If you’re looking for a happy medium, the Swordfish is perfect.

Platform, Nose and Tail
As I stated above, the Swordfish has plenty of space for dancing and accommodates a wide stance but does not hinder the rider with excessive weight. The moderate concave is rare for a cruising/carving board but it feels excellent. It’s nice to have your feet locked in for hard carving and pumping but the concave doesn’t impede dancing whatsoever. The nose and tail of the Swordfish are excellent for manuals and tech tricks. The ample size of the nose and tail make foot placement forgiving. Nose manuals have never been so effortless for me and tricks that once seemed unfathomable now seem do-able.

Shape
The Swordfish shape is pintail-esque but this is far from the common conception of a pintail. Although the Swordfish isn’t symmetrical, one feels comfortable after doing a shuvit or a 180 slide, and not like a fool. The shape allows for the versatility of the Swordfish.
